I am pretty much giving up on Cable TV! FOXTEL! PAY PER VIEW!!! Now they can go and fuck themselves! It must have been fate that I am not going to get Foxtel Digital. I've relocated since Last July and decided to switch to Foxtel Digital at the new place, and thats how the whole saga begins...

1. July : Moved into new place. Called Foxtel to get it switch over. New place, they can't install cable, so have to go for Satellite. Ok, that's fine with me but which means I would need approval from the body corporate to get a satellite installed. And they will send the form out to the body corporate themselves to get it sign off.
2. August: we heard nothing neither from Foxtel and the body corporate. So we rang FOXTEL again. They said they never heard back from our body corporate either, so they decided to send the form to us and hand over to the real estate agent and let us handle it. So we got the form days later, handed over to real estate agent. Weeks later we rang back, they said they had posted the form over to them so is up to us to deal with the body corporate... thanks MARCIA! Fucking stupid bitch won't even bother about this shit. So we started calling the body corporate and everytime we called we always got the phone messages.
3. September : The whole calling continued into September. Eventually, we thought is necessary to think of a clever message to leave on their phone. So we called them up and said "There has been an emergency at one of your property at ...., please phone back ASAP". And bingo, they called back straight away and think maybe there is a fire or something happened which is a cracker after we told them is about the Foxtel issue. Then what they told us that we have to wait for their general meeting in October and then they will bring up the issues with everyone from the premises and see whether we can go ahead with it which is rather bullshit if you ask me. So we just had to bite the bullet and wait.
4. October: Ok, now is time to have an update, we rang back, now the body corporate said the general meeting has been postponed but he said he can't see any problem why we can't go ahead with the installation. Is like ... DUH! If you said that in the first place then we didn't have to fucking waste the whole month or so waiting for the approval! So straight away we contacted FOXTEL and arranged for the installation and surprise surprise, the waiting period is like 1 month. So the installing date they can gave me is mid December so I agreed to it, better late than never.
5. November : The day we've booked for the installation was the hottest day so far in Sydney this summer. The technician came to our place 3 hours late, and then told us they can't do it because of the heat, would be too hot to go up and install the satellite on the roof. So reschedule needed. And the next available date is in December. Great.... I keep telling myself better later than never.
6. December : Now waited long enough and furstrated, is time for the installation again. This time no one turned up and a call came around 4pm, the girl told me the technician had an accident (LAME EXCUSE) and all others are booked out and asked me whether I can reschedule another date. I was fuming and said "NO"! I think she got the message and put me in the priority in the queue and to have the installation day on yesterday. I wasn't happy at all with this kind of crap service but since I already waited long enough, so one more extra day it would make a different anymore so I thought I would let them come 2 days later.
7. Today : Well, well, well. Guess what.... it rained in the morning for only 10 minutes, and then the technician called up and said the weather was too wet to go up to the roof, and asked me to reschedule to another day. I laughed out loud and asked him he must be joking cuz this was the 3rd time reschedule. So I pretty much told him I will deal with Foxtel myself and ask them to cancel my account cuz I've had enough. But minutes later he rang back and said he had a drive around my place and told me our place is not too high so shouldn't be a problem to get the satellite installed the same day. I thought that was a relief as I was about to give FOXTEL a call. Ok, I waited whole day till 2pm, no sign of him, frustrated. Gave him a call, and he changed his fucking mind!!!! He said he is not going to make it and asked me to reschedule again!!! I don't think I have the time to let them mucking around! So I basically rang FOXTEL up in bad mood and going to ask for cancellation. I got this in house number which they normally rang me up when they want me to reschedule, so I gave the number a call back. A guy answered, I told him my situation, and he said "I will put you through to the department to deal with this" and "beep", he fucking put me on the customer support voice menu and had to go through from the beginning!! FUCKING GREAT!! Then an indian guy answered the call and again, I had to tell him my situation and asking for cancellation. Fucking FOXTEL they won't even let you cancel your account and trying to reschedule a newer date for you and the best the indian can do is 25th of Janurary next year! There is no way I am going to wait for another month and he understood and put me to the cancellation department. Now, same story, same procedure, they still wont let me go and insisting to reschedule a new installation date for me but they will try the best for a closer date. The guy who answered the phone couldn't make a decision, he asked his manager, the fucking manager couldnt make a decision, and he has to email all the technicians to get a closer date and let me know with 24 hours. Until now, I havent heard back, shall I really bother about it anymore?!

I WOULD NEVER EVER GET CABLE AGAIN unless there is good shit and about 100 channels like in US and UK. Here, you pay $80 for all old sitcoms, repeats, documentaries and news.... is whoreshite and FOXTEL CAN SUCK MY DICK!!! THE END!
