Gorillaz - Feeling good being Demons

After 4 years, one of my favorite band finally gonna release a new album called Demon Days in May! They had just released their first single Feel Good Inc. and is sounding awesome!!! Once again, they did a fantastic job on the video clip with cool animations. Feel Good Inc. single will be released on 9th May, and the Demon Days album will be on 23rd May. I really really can't wait for it!!!! I really hope they make the characters into vinyl figures this time as they were very close to have the prototypes made few years back unfortunately the contract with a toy maker in US didn't go so well and the project was off.

Here's what the Feel Good Inc. video clip is all about:
As for the video, it opens at the end of another big night at the Feel Good Inc. tower in an anonymous grey city. The tower is awash with casualties from the party, all sleeping off the effects of the night before. 2D is the last one standing. As he gazes out of the window he sees Noodle pass by on a floating island, topped by a huge windmill. Her world is one of green grass, dappled sunshine and butterflies - in stark contrast to the grimy and debauched world of the tower.



Here's what Noodle had to say: "The windmill is a representation of a note of optimism, a memory of a simpler time. A snapshot picture of an older world, a note of simplicity and a little remembrance of a more innocent moment, pre-struggle."

P/S: I didn't know the Noodle character is a girl!!! I always thought is a Japanese kid, as the character has grown quite a bit with longer hair in the video clip. Love it!
