Haven't been so excited about a keyboard for quite a long time, finally there is something that caught my eye. Optimus Keyboard they called it, is designed by Art Lebedev Studio in Russia by the founder named Artemy Lebedev of course. I don't know many Russians in my daily life, but man, check out those geeks genius from the company, very intensed indeed.
Optimus Keyboard, the keyboard of the future they called it, every key is a stand-alone display showing exactly what it is controlling at this very moment.

What it means is it uses OLED technology to produce this keyboard. Each and every key is its own LCD display, all of the keys themselves are fully programmable to allow the user to set the keys up to any configuration they wish. The keys can be programmed for games like Quake, applications like Photoshop, and even languages. Not to mention the keyboard has a very sleek design as well.
The keyboard is in production now and will be coming out soon in year 2006. Apparently the images of the keyboard from the website is only a prototype and not the real thing. All the images are 3D rendered, I am pretty impressed to say the least.
