It was a shocking news yesterday around 2pm, that the well known Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin has passed away. The news travelled fast, and now the whole world is moarning for Irwin. Unless you've been living in a cave, Steve Irwin died just after 11am yesterday in front of the cameras when a stingray's barb pierced his heart as he swam over Batt Reef, off the coast of Port Douglas in far north Queensland. The poor wife Terri, and 2 children were on a Tasmanian wilderness trekking holiday when friends broke the news to them.
This morning, the news is all over the place, and even have a tribute show for him on Channel 7, but somehow is kind of surreal and you really start wondering whether it is really a tribute or more about channel-ratings hogging when they start playing all the old footages of Steve and interviews etc.
It is a sad news, although he can be bit nuts by holding his baby while feeding a croc. A truly aussie icon will sadly be missed.
As i heard that he was died i was crying. He was a beautifull adventurously men, brave, positive and nice. It´s very very sad to lose him. I can only say, that i and zhe whole of world will promise him. I have pity on his family. That is really too bad. I saw many documentation shows of him, he was great. (Sorry, i can not so good englisch, but i´m sure you undertand me.) We will don´t forget you ...we love you! REST IN PEACE STEVE
